Welcome to Storalla! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Storalla (“Storalla,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website, app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Service.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and process your personal information.
- Scope of the Service
Storalla is your personal inventory assistant, designed to simplify the way you manage and organise your belongings. Whether you’re cataloguing items in your home, garage, or storage unit, Storalla helps you stay on top of what you own and where it’s stored. It’s never been easier to keep your possessions organised and accessible.
- Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
- Order Forms and Organisational Use
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to accept these Terms on such organisation’s behalf. The organisation agrees to indemnify both you and Storalla for any violations of these Terms. For any custom plans or agreements with organisations, separate Order Forms may be issued. Any specific terms outlined in an Order Form will supersede these Terms in the event of a conflict.
- User Account Responsibilities:
- Account Creation: To use certain features, you must register for an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at info@storalla.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Acceptable Use Policy
When using Storalla, you agree not to:
- Harm the Service, others, or violate any laws.
- Develop a competing service using Storalla’s content or technology.
- Exploit vulnerabilities, circumvent security, or interfere with the Service.
- Resell or redistribute the Service or any part of it.
- Upload, share, or distribute unlawful, unauthorised, or harmful content.
Storalla reserves the right to take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination, for violations of this policy.
- User Content and Prohibited Content
- Ownership: You retain ownership of all content (e.g., photos, inventory details) you upload to the Service. However, by uploading content, you grant Storalla a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.
- Prohibited Content: You are solely responsible for all content you upload to the Service. By using Storalla, you agree not to upload, post, or share any content that:
- Violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
- Is defamatory, obscene, harmful, abusive, or otherwise objectionable;
- Contains copyrighted material without proper authorization;
- Depicts illegal activities, promotes violence, or includes hate speech;
- Involves child exploitation, pornography, or any other prohibited content.
Storalla reserves the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws if identified by Storalla or reported by users. Users may report prohibited content by contacting info@storalla.com.
Consequences for Prohibited Content:
- Prohibited content will be removed or disabled immediately.
- Accounts responsible for uploading prohibited content may be suspended or terminated.
- Illegal content will be reported to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
- Privacy and Data Protection
- Privacy Policy: Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable data protection laws.
- Data Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data, as well as other rights outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- Data Security: While we take reasonable measures to safeguard your Content, you are solely responsible for maintaining a backup of all your Content outside of the Service. We rely on third-party providers to offer security and encryption measures, and we are not responsible for any security incidents affecting your Content.
- Subscriptions, Fees, and Automatic Renewals
Storalla offers free and paid subscription plans.
- Automatic Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Changes in Fees: Storalla reserves the right to change subscription fees. Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any fee changes. If you do not agree to the updated fees, you must cancel your subscription before the next renewal date.
- Billing and Refunds: Payments for all premium features are due at the time you sign up. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law. Late payments may result in account suspension or termination, and Storalla reserves the right to charge a late fee of 1% of the overdue amount or the maximum amount allowed by law.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting Storalla support at info@storalla.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of the subscription term.
- Trials
- From time to time, we may offer trial subscriptions.
- Trial subscriptions may convert automatically to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the last day of the trial period.
- You may be required to provide a payment mechanism as a condition of your trial subscription.
- Data After Termination
If your account is terminated, you may request access to your stored data by contacting us at info@storalla.com within 14 days. Retrieval of data may be subject to a processing fee, which will be disclosed prior to fulfilling your request. After this 14-day period, Storalla is not obligated to retain or provide access to your data.
- Electronic Communications
By using Storalla, you agree to receive electronic communications, including notices, disclosures, and updates to these Terms. Communications sent electronically, including by email or through the Service, satisfy any legal requirements for written communications.
- Notices and Copyright Infringement Procedure
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to info@storalla.com with the following information:
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- The location of the infringing material.
- Your contact information.
- A statement of good faith belief that the material is unauthorised.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your signature.
Storalla will investigate and respond as required by law.
- Confidentiality
During your use of the Service, we may share information that is confidential, sensitive, or intended to be kept secret. Similarly, you agree that your content, account information, and payment information are confidential to you. Both parties agree to protect each other’s confidential information and use it only in connection with these Terms and the Service.
- Modifications to the Service
Storalla may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated to users where possible.
- Termination and Data Access
Storalla reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- You may request access to your content within 14 days. After this period, Storalla is not obligated to retain or provide access to your data.
- Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Storalla is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages.
- Loss of data due to user actions or system errors.
- Service interruptions or errors.
- Force Majeure
Storalla shall not be held liable for delays or interruptions in the Service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, government actions, labour disputes, power outages, or third-party service disruptions. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to resume normal operations as quickly as possible.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Storalla, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Service;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of any third-party right, including copyright, property, or privacy rights;
- Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in UK courts.
